Aww, my old branding, it makes me nostalgic, almost.

Ok, quick update just to let anyone who randomly finds this blog know what's been happening as the link below clearly ends up pointing to evocativeideas.com.

Well, that's because I work there now, which is all very exciting but also I launched Tired but Wired this week. It's a blog about games, and game reviews. It'll be a slow starter, no doubt, but I have high hopes.

I'm also a twitter maniac now, find me on @ndrewking

Good to catch up, laters!

New website, at last!

During university, this blog served as a rudimentary portfolio site and was always intended to be a means to an end.

Now, inevitably that end has come.

...but every cloud as they say.
Andrew King Design is relaunching the new rebranded, redeveloped website at www.andrewkingdesign.co.uk which will feature a much better maintained and publicised blog as well well as a greater range of projects (not just moving image folks, this will contain my entire ouvre... or the good bits at least), as well as news on the more peripheral stuff going on in the Falmouth graphic design scene.

Watch this space, good things this way come: www.andrewkingdesign.co.uk

IMMERS3D

The IMMERS3D proposal booklet in pdf form.

The booklet was the main outcome of my final major project together with 3 stereoscopic idents and a barrel-load of 3D still visuals... all of which I shall post on youtube3D at a later date for those of you lucky enough to have the right kit!

Nokia Beautiful Connections

A cheeky little surrealist effort in response to the Nokia beautiful connections competition brief. It was never entered but a learning experience nonetheless... SD + Blue Screen + poorly planned lighting = NO fun! Would love to reshoot this one when I have a spare fortnight ;)

Amnesty Project: Stop Torture

A slightly hyperbolic first-year degree motion graphics project to communicate the ineffectiveness of using torture to extract information. By no means perfect but hopefully you get the idea...
